Just if anyone is interested, about a few days ago before working on my human figure drawing skills, I did some pirate doodle drawings.

Possible inspiration of environment

Above is an example image of 'An Abandoned Island In The Sea of Japan' called Askold, I tend to make my environment look something like this because it is in the middle of the ocean/sea which is the idea of what I am going for.

Birth of the Project

How's it going, my name is Amo and using my Blog account again since 6 months but this time I am going to blogging on my 'concept art' project. In this project everyone (my class) was given a theme/phrase individually and we all have to develop concept drawings of characters, environments and objects that inhabit the world defined by our given phrase.

As it says in the title of this blog, "Ocean" which is my given theme and for my ideas, I've decided to include pirates and particular sea monsters/creatures as my characters, for the environment I'm going with an "Island in the middle of the Ocean" along with a pirate ship.

For starters, I am going to work and improve on my skills of drawing human and creature forms so I'll be prepared for character sketches and research on contents related to my theme.
